2025 가을학기 설명회

학부모님께,

내일은 드디어 시험 성적이 발표되는 날입니다. 모든 학생들이 좋은 결과를 얻기를 기원합니다. 그러나 모든 학생들이 원하는 성적을 받는 것은 아니므로, 부족한 부분이 있는 학생들은 빠르게 방향을 잡고 보완하는 것이 무엇보다 중요합니다.

이번 간담회는 목표에 도달하지 못했던 학생들과 곧 시험을 준비해야 하는 학생들을 위해 마련되었습니다. 8월 시험 결과를 종합적으로 분석하고, 9월부터 12월까지의 효과적인 학습 전략에 대해 구체적으로 상담드릴 예정입니다.

특히 8월 시험은 이미 세부 분석을 완료하였으니, 궁금하신 학부모님들께서는 함께 논의하실 수 있습니다.

여름 동안 준비가 충분하지 않았다고 느끼시거나 다른 학원을 다녔지만 성과가 부족했다고 생각하시는 학부모님께 도움이 될 자리가 될 것입니다. 또한 성적이 잘 나온 학생들도 안정적인 성취를 위해 10월까지는 등록을 이어가는 것이 바람직하며, PSAT 역시 만점을 목표로 준비하는 것이 중요합니다.

간담회에서는 다음과 같은 주요 질문들에 대해 안내드립니다:

• SAT를 여러 번 응시하면 불이익이 있는가?

• 슈퍼스코어 제도가 학생들에게 유리한가?

• 단어(Vocab)은 어느 정도 중요한가?

• SAT 준비는 언제 시작하는 것이 가장 효과적인가?

• 상위권 대학 지원을 위해 필요한 점수 기준은 어느 정도인가?

• 꼭 1500점대가 필요한가요?

• GPA와 SAT 중 어느 것이 더 중요한가?

• SAT 점수는 얼마나 빨리 향상될 수 있는가?

처음 준비를 시작하시는 학부모님께도 유익한 시간이 될 것입니다.

Dear Parents,We would like to invite you to a parent meeting designed for students who did not meet their goals in the recent exam, as well as for those preparing for upcoming tests. During the session, we will analyze the August exam results and discuss effective strategies for preparation from September through December.

This meeting will be particularly helpful for parents who feel that summer preparation was insufficient or who enrolled in other programs but found the results lacking. Even for students who achieved good scores, we recommend continuing enrollment until at least October, as maintaining strong performance is crucial. Achieving a high score on the PSAT is also beneficial.

The meeting will address important questions such as:

• Is there any disadvantage to taking the SAT multiple times?

• How beneficial is the superscore system for students?

• How important is vocabulary knowledge?

• When is the most effective time to begin SAT preparation?

• What score range is considered competitive for top universities?

• Do you really need 1500 or above?

• Which carries more weight: GPA or SAT?

• How quickly can SAT scores improve?
