PSAT 11학년 안내

학부모님께,

11학년 학생들을 대상으로 한 PSAT(Preliminary SAT)이 오는 10월에 실시됩니다. PSAT은 SAT과 동일한 방식으로 준비할 수 있으며, 가장 난이도 높은 ‘killer’ 문제가 제외되어 SAT보다 조금 더 쉽게 구성되어 있습니다. 만점은 1520점입니다.

SAT에서 1500점 이상을 목표로 하는 학생들은 이번 PSAT에서 만점에 도전해 보시기를 적극 권장드립니다. 좋은 성적은 SAT 준비에 실질적인 도움이 될 뿐 아니라, 대학 입시와 장학금 기회에도 긍정적인 영향을 줄 수 있습니다.

이를 준비하기 위해 학원에서는 아래와 같이 수업을 진행합니다.

• 금요일 (Palisades Park 캠퍼스, 오후 4시 ~ 9시 30분)

  
  

  • 오후 4:00 – 6:30: 전범위 모의시험 (원하는 경우 가정에서도 응시 가능)

  • 오후 6:30 – 9:30: 해설 수업 (리딩/라이팅/수학)

• 토요일 (Palisades Park 캠퍼스, 오전 10시 ~ 오후 5시)

  
  

  • 오전 10:00 – 오후 1:00: 전범위 모의시험

  • 오후 1:00 – 2:00: 점심시간

  • 오후 2:00 – 5:00: 해설 수업 (리딩/라이팅/수학)

• 토요일 (Closter 캠퍼스, 오전 8시 50분 ~ 오후 3시)

  
  

  • 오전 8:50 – 11:00: 전범위 모의시험

  • 오전 11:00 – 오후 1:00: 리딩/라이팅 해설

  • 오후 2:00 – 3:00: 수학 해설

금요일만해도 되고 토요일만해도 됩니다.

Dear Parents,

The PSAT (Preliminary SAT) will be administered this October for 11th grade students. Students can prepare for this exam in the same way they study for the SAT, and since the most difficult “killer” questions are excluded, the PSAT is slightly easier. The maximum score is 1520 points.

Students who are capable of achieving 1500+ on the SAT are strongly encouraged to challenge themselves for a perfect score on the PSAT. Strong results not only provide excellent SAT preparation but also enhance college applications and scholarship opportunities.

To support this preparation, our academy will follow the schedule below:

• Friday (Palisades Park Campus, 4:00 PM – 9:30 PM)

  • 4:00 – 6:30: Full Test (students may also choose to take the test at home)

  • 6:30 – 9:30: Review Session (Reading/Writing/Math)

• Saturday (Palisades Park Campus, 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

  • 1:00 – 2:00: Lunch Break

  • 2:00 – 5:00: Review Session (Reading/Writing/Math)
