Tutoring/Class Program Policy

Consistent attendance is crucial.

Avoid requesting schedule changes unless absolutely necessary, as missed or rescheduled sessions can hinder your child's progress.

Class Season Pass Policy

  • No Refunds: all sales are final. Once season pass is purchased, it cannot be refunded under any circumstances.

  • Non-Transferable: season passes are strictly non-transferable. They are intended for the original purchaser only and cannot be shared, exchanged, or transferred to another individual.

 

Tutor Policy

  • 24-hr Notice Required:

    • Provide at least 24 hours' notice for absences or scheduling changes.​

    • Rescheduling is subject to the instructor's availability.

    • Failure to give 24-hour notice means you lose the option to reschedule and will not receive credit for the missed session.

    • Please be advised, a cancellation fee of $50 is charged for sessions with less than 24-hour notice.

  • On-Site Tutoring Sessions:

    • If your child is sick or cannot arrive on time, you may request to change the session to a virtual one. If approved, their instructor's Zoom link will be accessible.​

    • If the Instructor is absent, the office will contact you to reschedule the missed session(s).

  • If you wish to add more tutoring sessions, contact us, especially if continuing with the same instructor.

  • Dur to high demand, we cannot guarantee the same spot will be available without advance notice.

 

Payment Policy

  • Full payment is required prior to the first scheduled session.

  • If you need a partial payment plan, assistance will be provided at the time of payment.

  • Master Klass accepts cash, credit card, check, and Zelle (hycho@mklassusa.com) payments.

  • 환불 불가: 모든 판매는 최종적입니다. 시즌 패스를 구매한 후에는 어떤 경우에도 환불이 불가합니다.

과외 수업 관련

  • 등록갱신

    • 세션을 추가하고 싶다면 (특히 같은 강사와 계속 진행하고자 하는 경우) 저희에게 연락해 주세요.

    • 수요가 많아 사전 통보 없이는 같은 자리를 보장할 수 없습니다

Tutoring Expectations

On-Site

  • ​Punctuality is crucial. Arrive on campus at least 5 minutes early to start promptly. Avoid unnecessary absences, as missed sessions can significantly hinder your progress.

Workshop Expectations

  • Workshops are for focused work. Your teacher will specify the assignments or study tasks for these sessions.

  • Stay for the entire duration of the workshop to maximize your productivity. If you finish early, inform the proctor for further instructions from your teacher.

  • Submit all assigned materials before leaving unless otherwise instructed. If you cannot finish your work, complete it as homework.

  • 워크숍은 집중적인 작업을 위한 시간입니다. 선생님이 이 세션 동안 학습 과제를 지정해 줄 것 입니다.

  • 생산성을 극대화하기 위해 워크숍의 전 시간 동안 머무르세요. 만약 일찍 끝난다면 감독관에게 알려 선생님의 추가 지시를 받으세요.

Homework Expectations

  • Homework must be completed by the date specified by your teacher.

  • Don't consider homework as just "busy work." Every assignment given by your teacher has a specific purpose. After finishing an assignment, review your mistakes so you can ask relevant questions when you meet with your teacher.

Testing Schedule

  • Simulation Tests:

    • Complete at least 2 days before your scheduled session.​

    • Strictly adhere to the time limits for each section. You may review your work within a section if you finish early, but once you move to the next section, you cannot return to previous sections.

  • On-Site Tests:

    • Arrive at the testing site at least 5 minutes early to receive your test booklet and set up on your device.​

    • Bring a pencil and eraser.

    • Calculators are not allowed for SSAT or ISEE tests. They are permitted on the second Math subsection of the SAT and the Math portion of the ACT. Bring a calculator only if taking the SAT or ACT; otherwise, your proctor will provide one if needed.

  • Self-Administered Tests at Home:

    • Inform your family that you will be taking a test to avoid interruptions.​

    • Calculators are not allowed for SSAT or ISEE tests. They are permitted on the second Math subsection of the SAT and the Math portion of the ACT. Bring a calculator only if taking the SAT or ACT; otherwise, your proctor will provide one if needed.

  • Score Reports:

    • Once scored, your test score report will be sent directly to the primary email (parent/guardian).​

  • Exam Preparation:

    • Taking practice tests alone is not enough. Always use your score report to review and correct the mistakes you made.​

  • ​모의 시험:

This program combines weekend classes with a structured weekday system.

Weekend: Core concepts and test practice

Weekdays: Zoom sessions, assignments, and reinforcement

It is designed so that learning continues throughout the entire week, not just once a week.

Weekday Zoom Classes (Required)


Students attend online classes on the following schedule:


Tuesday (8:00–9:00 PM): Reading

Wednesday (8:00–9:00 PM): Writing

Thursday (8:00–9:00 PM): Math


Attendance is required. If a student cannot attend, all materials must still be completed as homework.

This ensures that all students maintain the same level of learning regardless of attendance.

After the start of the program, no refunds will be issued if a student withdraws due to difficulty adjusting to the class or for personal reasons.

This signed permission slip/liability form is my/our consent for the child(ren) listed to participate in any activity, on and off Academy property, related to the semester.
