Thank You from Master Klass

안녕하세요, 마스터클래스 이준호 원장입니다.

2025년의 여름이 어느덧 저물어가고 있습니다. 학생들, 선생님들, 스태프분들, 그리고 부모님들, 모두의 헌신과 사랑 덕분에 이 여름을 성공적으로 마무리할 수 있었습니다. 특히 멀리서 오시는 부모님 라이드 이제 끝났습니다 😊. 매번 30분이상 운전하고 와서도 1-2시간씩 주차장에서 기다리시는 부모님들 보면서 감사하다고 꼭 말씀드리고 싶었어요.

무엇보다 놀라운 것은, 이번 2025년도에는 단 한 분의 부모님도 불만이나 컴플레인을 주신 적이 없었다는 사실입니다. 저 역시 제 운영 방식이 때때로 지나치다고 느낄 때가 있는데도 불구하고, 학부모님들께서 이해하기 쉽지 않은 부탁까지도 기꺼이 응해주신 점에 진심으로 감사드립니다. 22년차 여름을 지나면서 이런 경험은 처음이라 더욱 뜻깊고 놀랍습니다. 다시 한 번 학부모님들께 깊은 감사의 마음을 전하고 싶습니다.

마지막으로 꼭 전해드리고 싶은 말씀이 있어 이렇게 인사드립니다. 이번 주 SAT 시험을 앞둔 고등학생들이나 아직 BCA Prep을 준비하는 학생들에게, 혹시 지금 성과가 기대만큼 부족하더라도 아직 끝난 것이 아니라고 꼭 학생들에게 전달해 주시길 부탁드립니다. 저희 학원은 끝까지 학생들을 믿고, 해낼 수 있다는 마음을 심어주는 곳입니다. “안 되는 건 없다”라는 믿음으로 함께 달려왔습니다. “조금만 더 잘하고 싶어요”라며 눈물 흘리던 아이들의 모습이 아직도 제 마음에 깊이 남아 있습니다. 그 간절함과 노력은 반드시 열매를 맺을 것이라 믿습니다.

마지막에는 꼭 부모님의 도움이 필요합니다. 지금 오늘 여름 끝난시점에 학생들에게

아직 안끝났고 더 할수 있다고 한번더 격려를 꼭 해주셨으면 합니다.

어머니 아버님도 학생들 이정도면 됐지라고 생각하지 않으셨으면 좋겠습니다. 더 올라갈수 있고, 더 잘할수있습니다. 세미나를 통해 처음부터 말씀드렸지만, 아이들이 공부를 통해 “나도 할 수 있구나”라는 자신감을 배우고, 그 경험을 앞으로의 삶에서도 힘으로 삼을 수 있도록 돕는 곳입니다. 저희는 앞으로도 아이들과 함께 끝까지 걸어가며, 더 큰성장을 만들어 갈 것입니다.

다시 한 번, 소중한 자녀들을 저희에게 맡겨 주셔서 감사합니다. 부모님의 믿음과 사랑, 그리고 아이들의 땀과 눈물이 헛되지 않도록, 늘 최선을 다하는 학원이 되겠습니다.

This is David Lee, Director of Master Klass.

The summer of 2025 is already coming to a close. Thanks to the dedication and love of our students, teachers, staff, and especially our parents, we have been able to finish this summer on such a successful note. And to those parents who drove long distances—your rides are finally over! 😊 I cannot forget the sight of parents who drove over 30 minutes each way and then waited in their cars for one to two hours. I truly want to say how deeply grateful I am for that devotion.

What amazes me most is that this year, not a single parent voiced a complaint or concern. I know that at times my way of running things can feel a bit intense, yet parents have always been willing to understand and support—even when my requests may not have been easy. After 22 years of summers, this is the first time I’ve experienced this, and it has left me both humbled and profoundly thankful.

As we close each summer, I always feel there is one last message I must share. To our high school students taking the SAT this week, and to our younger students preparing for the BCA Prep: please remind them that even if results are not yet where they want them to be, it is not the end. At Master Klass, we believe in our students until the very last moment, and we teach them that nothing is impossible.

I still remember the students who tearfully told me, “I just want to do a little better.” Those faces remain in my heart, and I believe with all my heart that such determination will bear fruit.

But in these moments, we need the support of parents more than ever. As this summer ends, please encourage your children that it’s not over yet—that they can achieve more. I ask that you not think, “This is enough for now.” The truth is, they can rise higher, and they can do better.

From the beginning, I shared in our seminar that this academy is not simply about test preparation—it is about helping students build the confidence to say, “I can do it too.” That confidence will serve them far beyond the classroom and into their lives. We will continue walking with them every step of the way, fostering greater growth together.

Once again, thank you for entrusting us with your precious children. With your faith and support, and with the sweat and tears of our students, we will continue to do our utmost to ensure their hard work leads to lasting success.
